Mark Voudrie became the president of Cox Transfer, Inc. in November of 2011. With 30-plus years of successful management experience, he is committed to making Cox Transfer the best trucking company in the Midwest. Mark has never done anything halfway, which quickly became evident during his time as an airman in the Air Force. His military career included working as a weather communications expert in information technology at Hickam Air Force Base, where he was named the 1987 Communication Groups Airman of the Year. From there, he worked in the information technology field at Customer Development Corporation, State Farm and Wallace Computer Systems. Mark was employed at Caterpillar for 13 years, the last 10 of which were in transportation. His experience and expertise enabled Mark to find new ways to help manufacturers move freight, prompting him to eventually run his own trucking company.
As president of Cox Transfer, Mark is driven to achieve the following goals:

Mark is committed to using his background in trade compliance, project management, computer systems strategy, and supply chain analysis, design, and implementation to make Cox Transfer an industry leader. Mark’s educational background and professional training have prepared him to make Cox Transfer, Inc. a frontrunner in logistics. His formal training includes:
- Master of Science degree in Systems Management from the University of Southern California
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Roosevelt University
- Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business Management from Eureka College
- Six Sigma Blackbelt certification
- ISO9002 Internal Auditor certification
James Richardson joined Cox Transfer in December of 2013, bringing 2 decades of IT Management experience to his role. James’ formal career in transportation and logistics began with G&D Integrated where he spent two years in Distribution Operations and 14 years as the Chief Information Officer of the organization. James has extensive experience with a variety of logistics information systems including transportation, distribution, warehousing, inventory, manufacturing, and yard management systems. He has managed all facets of Information Technology within a multi-site and international logistics organization including the implementation of IT Governance methodologies and processes. During his time as Chief Information Officer at G&D Integrated, James spent two years co-managing an Engineering Services profit center division which employed design and industrial automation engineers. Directly prior to joining Cox Transfer, James was a Project Manager for GT Nexus/The Fennimore Group and worked with customers, ocean carriers, and domestic/international suppliers to implement GT Nexus SaaS supply chain management systems and EDI integration across the customer’s global supply chain.
James studied Computer Science at Southern Illinois University and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Philosophy from Illinois State University. He continued his education to earn his Masters of Business Administration/Technology Management from the University of Phoenix. In his spare time, James teaches martial arts and group exercise classes at Eastside Center in East Peoria.
